Martina Lewis has found beauty, happiness, and wonder in all forms of art since she was a young girl. Her passion for art has now evolved into her dream career as a custom jewelry designer. She gained her undergraduate degree from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, Syria, and then went back to school at the Gemological Institute of London for certifications in Jewellery Designing and Manufacturing. Martina moved to the ‘Mecca of the Jewellery Industry’, Rockford IL.
She worked for David Yurman and then moved on to Product Development at the corporate offices of Tiffany & Co.

Working hands-on with gemstones, gaining an understanding of the complex process of creating fine jewelry, and collaborating with some of the most skilled jewelers in the industry enriched her knowledge and background exponentially. These years in Rockford IL gave her incomparable experiences and understanding of the craft of jewelry design, which she continues to pull from today to create her unique custom pieces. She eventually moved from her hometown of Westminster, London to Rockford IL, and she began working as a custom design for a successful family-owned jewelry store in a high-end part of town. There, her experience, design portfolio, and her passion for the custom design process flourished.
Martina’s favorite part of the jewelry design process is getting to know her clients and learning about their aesthetic tastes, as the knowledge she gains from her relationship with them is what fuels her ability to create her truly custom pieces. She has thrived while collaborating with a variety of clientele, from a man anxious to surprise his future wife with an engagement ring that reflects her stunning beauty and avant-grade taste; to a daughter seeking to transform an heirloom piece of her grandmother's jewelry into an understated, everyday reminder of her presence; to a divorcee hoping to repurpose her diamonds into a statement cocktail ring or necklace. The possibilities of one-of-a-kind pieces waiting to be created are truly endless.

In her downtime, Martina also creates a fun, lower price point, costume line, Martina Lewis using a combination of up-cycled vintage parts, semi-precious gemstones, and funky chains.
